EPAULETTE FRAMES AT 100% NORWAY, LONDON 19-22.09.13

Epaulette will be exhibited during The London Design Festival at the 10th anniversary show for 100% Norway. The exhibition will take place in Dray Walk Gallery off Brick Lane as part of Tent London and London Design Festival.

100% Norway is hosted by the Norwegian Design Council, the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Aairs and the Royal Norwegian Embassy in London.

THE STATE OF THINGS AT GREENHOUSE, STOCKHOLM 05-09.02.13

Epaulette will be shown at Klubben's stand VH03:17 at Greenhouse during Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair as part of the exhibition The State of Things, for the second time. Stockholm Furniture & Light Fair is the world's largest meeting place for Scandinavian furniture and lighting design, for both home and public environments.

FYR LANTERN AT THE THIEF, TJUVHOLMEN 09.01.13

The new design hotel THE THIEF opened the 9th of January 2013 at Tjuvholmen, Oslo. The FYR lantern lights up the bar and roof terrace.

Tingenes Tilstand, Gallery TM51 31.08-02.09.12

Ida Noemi has teamed up with Caroline Olsson and designed the frame system Epaulette. Epaulette is exhibited at gallery TM51 at Grünerløkka in Oslo during the exhibition Tingenes Tilstand.

Tingenes Tilstand (The State of Things) is a design exhibition about objects and their stories. A group of fresh and exciting designers show brand new furniture and products, developed based on a given design brief.

INSIDE NORWAY AT ICFF, NEW YORK CITY 19-22.05.12

Ida Noemi is exhibiting the Story lamp together with Studio Vibeke Skar at the Inside Norway stand at the Javits Center in Manhattan. The exhibition is being assembled in conjunction with Innovation Norway, The Consulate General of Norway, and Møbelrådet.

Ida Noemi is exhibiting Fyr together with Studio Vibeke Skar and Mind the Gap at the exhibition The List of The Thief in Skur 13 at Tjuvholmen.

In context with Petter Stordalen’s new hotel, The Thief, opening at Tjuvholmen in 2013 he arranges an exhibition with young Norwegian designers.

"THE EXCEPTIONAL EVERYDAY", WASHINGTON DC 21.12.11-22.01.12

Ida Noemi will showcase Story together with Studio Vibeke Skar at the exhibition “The Exceptional everyday” at the Corcoran Museum of Art in Washington DC.

The Exceptional Everyday is an exhibition showcasing the dynamic and witty work of nine contemporary Norwegian industrial designers. The exhibit featuring objects which tweaks a seemingly mundane object or process and, in doing so, creates an exceptional experience.

100% NORWAY, LONDON 22-25.09.11

Ida Noemi will be exhibiting several pieces with 100% Norway at Earls Court in London. The Story Collection, consisting of the Story lamp and the two brand new Story lanterns, will be shown together with Vibeke Skar, and Ida Noemi will also be exhibiting solo with the entrance furniture Mind the Gap, a console table and a stool.

100% Norway 2011 will showcase works of both established and up-and-coming designers, and feature a number of the country’s leading manufacturers. This will be the eight time the exhibition visits London to act as a door opener for Norwegian designers and manufacturers to the British market and simultaneously build awareness of Norwegian design in the UK and internationally.

AHO WORKS DIPLOMA, DogA 03-05.02.11

Ida Noemi is exhibiting her master diploma Meaningful Embraces with Objects at DogA, the Norwegian Centre for Design and Architecture.

Meaningful Embraces with Objects is a discursive diploma looking at the emotional side of design, inspired by the the fact that emotionally neutral objects do not exist. As part of the diploma Ida Noemi is exhibiting the entrance furniture Mind the Gap, a console table and a stool.

IMM COLOGNE 18-23.01.11

Story lamp by Vibeke Skar and Ida Noemi will be exhibited at the IMM Cologne International Furniture fair with TEAM 7 Natürlich Wohnen.

IMM Cologne showcases the home interiors of the future. The important suppliers from Germany, the rest of Europe and all over the world will present their latest products here. IMM Cologne is the central meeting place for suppliers and decision-makers.

BONYTT AWARD - FORM AND EXPRESSION 10.06.10

The Story lamp by Vibeke Skar and Ida Noemi wins the Form and Expression prize from Bonytt at the annual AHO Works exhibition at The Oslo School of Architecture and Design.

VENTURA LAMBRATE, MILANO 14-19.04.10

Ida Noemi will be showing the Story lamp, a collaboration with Vibeke Skar, at the new area for design in Milan, Ventura Lambrate, during Salone Del Mobile. The Story lamp will be shown as a part of Studio Vibeke Skar. Studio Vibeke Skar together with Studio Jens Praet and LanzevecchiaWai are renting a 100m2 gallery space for the exhibition Transparency.

The goal with Ventura Lambrate is to offer the international design world a new area in Milan, where the focus will once again be on the quality of the presentations, the substance of the exhibitors and the content of the works.

1ST PRIZE PRODUCT DESIGN, GULLKALVEN 07.06.08

The packaging concept Min Solo wins first prize in product design at the award ceremony for Gullkalven. Min Solo (eng: “My Solo”) is a new concept for the Solo soda that focuses on birthday parties for children age 3-8. The project is a collaboration with Hans A. Huseklepp and Henning R. Nielsen.

Ida Noemi was also nominated with one other project.
